I am a crazy, loopy, eccentric 34 year sagittarian female..*S*...I am divorced and have 2 beautiful daughters called Kelly(14) and Shannon(8)...We have a rather uncomformative household..*s*...I live with my two daughters, my best friend and her fiance and his old flatmate, Aussie...We have 2 dogs, a female siberian husky called Flame and a male red cattle dog called bear, 3 cats, Sinbad a ginger tom and Tiffany a persian female and Chillie who is a black and white moggie..*S*..We also have 2 horses..Bonnie who belongs to Shannon and Tarji who is my paint quarter horse gelding..*S*..oh and lets not forget Biscuit, our quarion and the 3 budgies and our 2 pet rats McMaud and Cuddles....
In 1997 I saw the culmanation of a life long dream by recording my first Album. It is called "Playing to Win" and I am extremely proud of it. It was produced by John Sayers and recorded at the "Big Toe Studio" in Mullumbimby. I had lots of famous people backing me..*S*...Stuart French played all the guitar tracks and Paul 'Pixie' Jenkins played wonderful Fiddle. I have also Mark Moulynox featuring on Pedal Steel/Banjo..The list goes on..*S*...I will actually list all these wonderful people here..*S*... I have released 2 singles off my album..the first one was "Too Much Rum and Rodeo" which made it to 50 on the charts and the new one is a beautiful lullaby called "Hush Now", which was written by a friend of mine, David Cavanagh.
I recorded the album while I was married...but as I am no longer married I don't perform under the name Tracy Fogarty...I have reverted back to my maiden name..which is Shanks...this has caused a wee bit of confusion but hopefully it will sort itself out in the wash..*S*.
Performing in a Duo is so much fun. The name of our Duo is "Shanks's Pony" and Paul and I have been singing together for about 6 months now. We both hope to get on the road early next year..*S*...Our sound tech/security officer is also our web designer..*S*...please check out Bill's Homepage...he is just wonderful..*S*
I just have to mention all my wonderful online friends and family...*S*...I love you all from the bottom of my heart..and yes..I do still have a heart..*S*...I have just learned to look after it a bit better that's all..*wink*...A special hug to my 3 favourite Tazmanian friends, Oracle, Kane and Ian..I love you all heaps just wish you were all one..then things would be different..*wink*...you are truly *groovy*...
